It is a semi‑permeable, melt‑processable, highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, typical traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for items used solely as barriers or shades. Material distribution must be uniform, yielding consistent thickness. Wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are limited to ±5%. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION The carrier structure will be fabricated from cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes will be welded by high‑frequency welding within the standard tolerances for dimensions and cross‑section. The tubes will be sandblasted and then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts will be prepared for coating by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be shot onto the surface with compressed air to further open pores. After sandblasting, the parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components will undergo a 10‑minute oil‑removal bath at 70 °C (5% concentration), then a 15‑minute iron‑pickling bath at 50 °C (1% concentration). After rinsing and drying, the electrostatic coating will be cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
