It is semi‑permeable, soft‑moldable and very durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene grades are classified according to density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, the general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, the masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a Lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of products must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shade‑type items that are not pressure‑loaded. Material distribution must be uniform, and the overall thickness tolerance is 5%. Carrier Construction: The carrier structure consists of round steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are cold‑formed, welded by high‑frequency welding, and fall within the standard dimensional tolerances. The tubes are powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating applied in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process: All metal parts are first blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine metal powder is then sprayed using pressurised air to open up pores and clean the surface. After blasting, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in an oven at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the metal components receive a durable polyester‑based powder coat applied in an outdoor electrostatic system and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. All welds are fully coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
