It is semi‑permeable, softenable, and highly durable; its low cost and high resistance make it a favorite in industry. Polyethylene’s density and chemical characteristics define its classification into various categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, they generally offer good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofing, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas exposed to pressure and abrasion, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for components used only as barriers or shading elements. The material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness. Dimensional tolerance for thickness and measurements is ±5%. Carrier Construction: Steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) will be cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded with high‑frequency welding. The tubes will be painted by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal parts will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts will be cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, metal components will undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. Final rinsing and drying steps will be performed, and the entire product will receive a uniform polyester‑based powder coating, baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully painted to prevent corrosion.
