It is a semi‑permeable, softening, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it widely preferred in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, general attributes include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subjected to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shade components that are not load‑bearing. Material distribution and wall thickness must be uniform, with a dimensional tolerance of ±5%. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION The carrier structure will be fabricated from circular‑section steel tubes conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, cold‑formed with a minimum outside diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes will be sand‑blasted and then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts will be cleaned of oil, dirt, and rust using sand‑blasting to create a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be sprayed with pressurized air to open further pores and remove contaminants. After cleaning, parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following coating, metal components will undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5 % oil removal bath, then a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1 % iron bath, rinsing and drying thereafter. Finally, the entire assembly will be painted with durable polyester powder coating in an outdoor‑ready electrostatic system, baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
