It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, which makes it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although specifics vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a Light Fastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness shall be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading elements. Consistent material distribution and uniform thickness are required, with a dimensional tolerance of ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), produced in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency fusion. The tubes are sand‑blasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint All metal components are sand‑blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for optimal paint adhesion. After cleaning, the parts are pre‑treated in a 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath for 10 minutes, followed by a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath for 15 minutes, rinsed, and dried. They are then coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Final welding seams are painted in a single continuous coat to prevent corrosion.
