Seating area: 43 x 250 cm (16.9 x 98.4 in), height: 50 cm (19.7 in). Safety area: 243 x 450 cm (95.7 x 177 in). The vertical (axial) seesaw is designed for a maximum free‑fall height of 1250 mm (49.2 in). The seat’s maximum tilt will be 20°. When measured in the balanced position, the seat height above the ground must not exceed 700 mm (27.6 in). Footrest supports can be provided as needed, but they must be designed to prevent foot entrapment. The seesaw seats will be made of polyethylene with a minimum weight of 2 kg (4.4 lb) each. Electrostatic powder coating and sandblasting: All metal components will undergo sandblasting according to the standards listed below before painting, which removes rust, oil, weld slag and other defects. After sandblasting, the parts will be washed in a phosphate bath, dried, then coated with a polyester‑based powder paint that prevents solar heating of the metal. The coated parts will be cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 10 minutes. Bolts, nuts, and pins used in the play system will be galvanized, and no protruding bolts or nuts will be present on any part of the playground set.
