Climbing Ropes: Six 16 mm (0.6 in) diameter polyamide (nylon) ropes with UV protection and fire‑retardant treatment. Each rope consists of a polyamide core surrounded by six steel reinforcement strands (total 144 steel strands). Both ends terminate in an aluminum sleeve with a galvanized steel wear‑resistant connector loop. Edge ropes include additional steel reinforcement for a total of 168 steel strands. Connection Balls: A single compressed aluminum ball, rated at 150,000 lb (667 kN), prevents the connection form from moving and reduces early cable wear. Footpad Surface: A 13 mm (0.5 in) thick rubber footpad reinforced with fabric, mounted on the cable with two‑piece bolted aluminum connectors that feature drainage holes to reduce rope wear. Base Connection Elements: All attachment hardware for component assemblies is stainless steel. Mounting Plates: Made from galvanized steel. Corner anchors provide multiple attachment points for tension adjustment and a safety rope. Mid‑post anchors consist of a staking post and an anchor ring that secures the post to concrete. This two‑part assembly allows precise positioning of the post during installation, simplifying the process. Anchor Bolts: The mounting plates are fixed to concrete blocks with 22 mm (0.9 in) diameter × 500 mm (19.7 in) long “L”‑shaped anchor bolts.
