The ends have finished aluminum sleeves attached to the rope and a galvanized steel wear‑rod‑covered link ring. Edge ropes include a robust core of steel cables (168 steel reinforcement wires) wrapped around a polyamide core. - Binding Balls: A single compressed aluminum ball, designed to prevent movement of the connection form and early wear of the cable, capable of withstanding a force of 150,000 lb (667 kN). - Cushioning Surface: A 13 mm (0.5 in) thick rubber pad reinforced with fabric, attached to the cable with two‑piece bolted aluminum connectors that feature drainage holes to reduce rope wear. - Base Connection Elements: All fastening components for component attachments are stainless steel. - Mounting Plates: Made of galvanized steel. Corner anchors provide multiple attachment points for adjustable tensioning and a safety rope. Mid‑post anchors consist of a brace post and an anchor ring that secures the assembly to concrete.
