After sandblasting, degreasing, and phosphating, the metal components are coated with a lead‑free, polyester‑based powder at a thickness of 80‑110 µm. Sandblasting removes oil, dirt, and rust, and creates a porous surface to improve paint adhesion. The process is performed by projecting fine metal beads into a pressure‑resistant cabinet using compressed air. After coating, the parts are baked in a furnace at 200‑220 °C for 30 minutes to cure the finish.
