Technical Specification Figure Technical Features: It is a material with high chemical resistance and low density. It has a low friction coefficient and is slippery. Water or moisture absorption is close to zero. The cutting plate can be used especially in industrial kitchens and as a butcher block. This material can also be welded. Compared to polypropylene and PVC, it is softer and less rigid. The element that characterizes polyethylene (HDPE) is its molecular weight. It can be grouped into three categories: low molecular weight, high molecular weight, and ultra‑high molecular weight (PE 300, PE 500, PE 1000). PE 1000 in particular offers outstanding wear resistance. It provides excellent durability when working in contact with metals. Spring: Made of 4–6 wire helical coils from 60SiCr8 steel. Minimum Ø18 mm (0.7 in) ± 1 mm (0 in) material diameter, Ø150 mm (5.9 in) ± 10 mm (0.4 in) outer diameter. During steel spring deflection, the minimum distance between two points is about 15 mm (0.6 in). The spring deflection capability is up to 30° relative to the tangent surface (to prevent overturning).
