Technical Specification Figure Technical Features: The material has high chemical resistance and low density. It has a low friction coefficient and is a slippery material. Water or moisture absorption is near zero. The cutting plate can be used especially in industrial kitchens and as a butcher block. This material is also weldable. Compared to polypropylene and PVC, it is softer and less rigid. The element that characterizes polyethylene (HDPE) is its molecular weight. It is grouped into three categories: low molecular weight, high molecular weight and ultra‑high molecular weight (PE 300, PE 500, PE 1000). In particular, PE 1000 offers outstanding wear resistance. It provides excellent durability when operating against metals. Spring: Made of 4–6‑wire helical coils of 60SiCr8 steel. Minimum Ø18 mm (0.7 in) ±1 mm (0 in) material diameter with Ø150 mm (5.9 in) ±10 mm (0.4 in) outer diameter. During steel spring deflection, the clearance between two points is at least about 15 mm (0.6 in). The spring’s deflection angle relative to the tangent surface is limited to a maximum of 30 degrees to prevent overturning.
