Compared to polypropylene and PVC, it is softer and less rigid. The defining factor of polyethylene (HDPE) is its molecular weight. Molecular weights are classified into three groups: low molecular weight, high molecular weight, and ultra‑high molecular weight (PE 300, PE 500, PE 1000). PE 1000, in particular, offers superior wear resistance. It provides excellent durability when operating against metals. Spring: The spring is made from 60SiCr8 steel with 4–6 wire helical twists and is flexible. It has a minimum material diameter of Ø18 mm (0.7 in) ± 1 mm (0 in) and an outer diameter of Ø150 mm (5.9 in) ± 10 mm (0.4 in). During steel spring deflection, the minimum clearance between two points is about 15 mm (0.6 in). The spring’s deflection angle is limited to a maximum of 30° relative to the tangent surface to prevent overturning.
