The planter is built from 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden laths. The long sides use ten 4 × 9 × 100 cm (1.6 x 3.5 x 39.4 in) wooden laths, and the short sides use ten 4 × 9 × 60 cm (1.6 x 3.5 x 23.6 in) wooden laths. 3. The topmost lath will be a wooden frame measuring 2 × 4 cm (0.8 x 1.6 in). 4. The bottom of the planter will be closed with a lattice; a frame of 4 × 4 cm (1.6 x 1.6 in) wooden laths will be installed on the base. 5. All corners of the planter will be reinforced with wooden laths measuring 4 × 6 × 60 cm (1.6 x 2.4 x 23.6 in). 6. The interior will be lined with a membrane for insulation. 7. The wood material will be first‑grade, kiln‑dried yellow pine or fir.
