Seating Area: 250 x 250 cm (98.4 x 98.4 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood dimensions will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following criteria: knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots, and the total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, defective, partially split, or fallen knots are allowed. Cracks – no ring cracks; hairline cracks up to 1–2 mm (0-0.1 in) may be present. Pressure‑treated wood may exhibit head and longitudinal cracks within the specified tolerances. Resin pockets – each piece may contain one resin pocket no longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are permitted. No manufacturing defects are allowed beyond the stated tolerances. Bowing – may not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact – may not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twisting – may not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Flexure to the blade – will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Main Supports: The support legs will be fabricated from four pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives that add a decorative motif. The height of the support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof’s supporting slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each slat will be shaped on a router. Additional decorative slats, also 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in), will be formed with diamond‑tipped knives that imprint a motif. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: A 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in) flange with a 90 × 70 × 5 mm (3.5 x 2.8 x 0.2 in) wiping weld will be welded onto the bottom of each support leg, and a 12 mm (0.5 in) diameter hole will be drilled. The anchors will be mounted to the legs with screws and to the ground with steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the legs to the ground. Picnic gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding at least two sides of the flange, with a minimum 3 mm (0.1 in) weld thickness. Six special screws will be installed on each leg for the anchor connection, and two dowel screws per leg will secure the anchors to the ground. All metal components will be painted with a polyester‑based powder coating in a furnace.
