Seating Area: 150 x 500 cm (59.1 x 197 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Characteristics: The lumber used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Knots – Each piece may contain up to 4 solid knots. The total width of knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the overall member width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots will be present. Cracks – Ring cracks are not allowed. Fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated impregnation may produce permissible end‑ and length‑wise cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – Each member may contain a single resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only the specified tolerances may apply. Deflection – Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist – Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Blade deflection – Blade deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding – All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Main Supports: The main supports of the pergola will be made from seven pieces of pine timber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped knives bearing a special motive. The support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: The roof support slats will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) timber. Two corners of each slat will be routed to shape. Additional decorative slats, also 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in), will be shaped with diamond‑tipped knives. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Seating Unit: The seating unit will be assembled with seven L‑shaped wood legs, each at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), attached by special galvanized screws—one end to the support frame, the other to the seating slat. Three rows of decorative slats, each at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) and cut with diamond‑tipped knives, will be mounted on the L‑legs using special galvanized screws.
