Seating Area: 150 x 500 cm (59.1 x 197 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacture will be First‑Class Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: Knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the overall piece width. No rotten, split, partially separated, or fallen knots are permitted. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are acceptable. Pressure‑treated resin environment may allow appropriate axial and transverse cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – at most one per piece, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length; no dripping or sucking resin. No inner bark, rot cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. Deflection – will not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Blade bending – tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Metal Paint Characteristics: All metal components will be painted by powder coating with a polyester‑based finish and cured in a furnace. Metal tube profile dimensions will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Surfaces will be prepared by phosphating to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous layer for optimal paint adhesion. After fabrication, metal parts will receive a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat and be baked at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Primary Supports: The pergola’s primary supports consist of four electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles Ø89 × 2 mm (3.5 x 0.1 in). Support leg height will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: Roof supports are made from 40 × 40 mm (1.6 x 1.6 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. A minimum 50 × 70 mm (2 x 2.8 in) wooden piece, shaped with its two corners milled, will be attached to the main metal support. All fixed connections will use specially galvanized wood screws. Seating Unit: The seating unit legs are fabricated from 40 × 40 mm (1.6 x 1.6 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. On each leg, a minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) hardwood slat, shaped with a diamond‑tipped special‑motif blade, will be mounted with galvanized screws.
