Seating Area: 300 x 300 cm (118 x 118 in). Height: 250 cm (98.4 in). Wood Characteristics: The lumber used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood quality includes: Knots – up to four solid knots per meter, each not exceeding one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, decay, partially fused or missing knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are acceptable, as are pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – at most one per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, no rot cavities, no insect holes. No manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. Deflection – not to exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact markings not to exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twisting – not to exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. Blade deflection – tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Primary Supports: The main supports of the pergola will be fabricated from four pieces of pine timber, each 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tip specialty knives to create a motif. Support leg height will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof carrier slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) lumber, with two corners routed for shaping. On top of these carrier slats, motif‑decorated slats sized 50 × 70 mm (2 x 2.8 in), also cut with diamond‑tip specialty knives, will be installed. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws.
