Metal tube profile lengths will be produced with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in) according to the project requirements. To ensure proper adhesion, any oil, dirt, or rust on the metal parts will be removed and the surface prepared by a phosphating process that creates micro‑pores for the coating. After fabrication, the metal parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and then cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Wood Features: The wood material will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in) and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable wood characteristics include: - Knots: up to four solid knots per meter, each knot not exceeding one‑quarter of the total width of the piece. No rotten, defective, partially split, or fallen knots. - Cracks: no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible. Pressed‑impregnation specifications may allow grain‑direction cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: a single resin pocket up to 10 cm (3.9 in) in length per meter; no leaking or pulling resin. No inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. - Manufacturing defects are excluded; only the specified tolerances may apply. - Bending: deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. - Impact: dents will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. - Twisting: for every meter of length, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). - Edge bending: tolerances between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Metal Carriers: Carrier legs will be fabricated from electrostatically powder‑coated metal profiles measuring at least 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in). Seating Units: Two opposite seating units provide a seat width of 40 cm (15.7 in), length of 180 cm (70.9 in), and seat height of 45 cm (17.7 in). The seating unit carriers are made from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. Each seating unit will be mounted with six minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden lap joints fastened with special galvanized screws to the metal profiles. Table: The table measures 81 × 180 cm (31.9 x 70.9 in) and is crafted from minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden lathes cut with impregnated diamond‑tipped special blades that create a decorative pattern. Table legs are 70 cm (27.6 in) high and made from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles.
