Seating Area: 300 × 900 cm (118 x 354 in) Roof Area: 370 × 970 cm (146 x 382 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Specifications: The timber used for production will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Desired wood characteristics include: • Knots: Each meter may contain up to four sound knots; total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the part width. No rot, decay, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. • Cracks: No ring cracks; hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible, as are pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. • Resin Pockets: No more than one resin pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, decay cavities, or insect holes. • Manufacturing Defects: None, only deviations within the specified tolerances. • Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. • Impact: Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. • Twisting: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. • Compression Bending: Tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. • Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Anchoring: Flanges of 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) will be welded to the bottom of the carrier legs, with 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plates drilled for two bolts or anchor holes. Each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will have three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. Anchors will be bolted to the carriers and attached to the floor with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and securing the carrier legs. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding minimum‑thickness (2.5 mm (0.1 in)) flanges around at least two sides of the uprights. Six special screws per leg will connect the uprights to the anchors, and two dowelled screws per leg will secure the anchors to the floor. All metal parts will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish in a furnace. Seating group not included.
