Seating Area: 300 x 900 cm (118 x 354 in) Roof Area: 370 x 970 cm (146 x 382 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Characteristics: - The wood material to be used will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. - Wood sections will be manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). - Knot specifications: each meter may contain up to four solid knots. The total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots will be present. - Crack specifications: no ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated wood may show permissible head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: each meter may contain one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No dripping or sucking resin, no inner shell, no rot cavities, and no insect holes will be present. - Manufacturing defects are excluded; only tolerances apply. - Bending: deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: impact will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: for each meter length, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). - Compression bending: deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Anchoring: - A 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded onto the bottom of each carrier foot, then a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will be welded, and a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will be pre‑drilled with two anchor holes. Each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate will have three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. - Anchors will be bolted to the carriers and attached to the floor with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and securing the carrier feet. - Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) fillet on both sides. - Six special screws will be installed on each foot for the vertical connection, and two dowel screws per foot for the floor connection. - All metal parts will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish and baked.
