Slides are produced from fiberglass or polyethylene. Stair treads and handrails feature metal frames covered with patterned rubber. All wooden‑metal playground sets are TSE‑certified and come with a 2‑year usage guarantee and a 5‑year spare‑parts warranty from the manufacturer. Impregnation (pressure treatment) is the process of infusing wood with chemical agents to protect it from decay organisms. The treatment penetrates only the sapwood; heartwood remains naturally durable. The wood must be sapwood for effective impregnation. The process varies according to wood species, installation environment, and expected service life. In the dip‑immersion method, wood is fully submerged in a treatment tank and then allowed to dry for 24 hours. This method is fast, efficient, and cost‑effective, offering lower labor and storage costs compared with pressurized systems. It is recommended for protecting untreated wood before assembly. A protective coating is applied to prevent beetle and insect damage, with a finish varnish recommended to preserve durability over time. The treatment may slightly tint the wood but does not act as a pigment. In covered structures (e.g., picnic gazebo) protection lasts 1–2 years; for urban furnishings such as pergolas, benches, and picnic tables, protection lasts 6 months to 1 year. Fill Varnish: - Reaches sandable hardness within 2–4 hours (adjusted for temperature and humidity). - Fills wood pores, smooths the surface, and reduces absorption of the final topcoat, saving time and material. - Sands easily. Gloss Varnish: - Provides the desired shine and slip resistance. - Durable against scratches, impacts, water, detergents, and other chemicals. - Offers a high‑gloss, clear finish with excellent transparency.
