Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood characteristics per meter include: - Knots: up to 4 solid knots per meter, each not exceeding one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, split, or fallen knots. - Cracks: No ring cracks; hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible. Pressure‑treated cracks may be present within tolerance. - Resin pockets: No longer than 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, maximum one per meter. No leaking or internal resin. - No decay, cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. - Bending: Not to exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: Not to exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: Not to exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. - Deflection: Between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded clean. Primary Supports: Four 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine beams, machined with diamond‑tipped blades, form the support legs. Leg height is 250 cm (98.4 in). Roof: Support slats for the gazebo roof are 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) pine, milled on two edges, and fastened with wooden cladding or fiber material. Optional shingle roofing (American cedar) may be applied. The eaves will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) decorative pine slats, attached with galvanized wood screws. Roof framing consists of 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) pine members, with waterproof cladding placed every 50 cm (19.7 in). The longer side of the roof will extend further for shading and will be covered down to the floor with waterproof cladding. All fixed connections use stainless‑steel wood screws; roof‑to‑column connections use specially galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: Under each support leg, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes (13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes (15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) will be drilled per plate. Anchors are bolted to the legs and to the ground with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and securing the legs. Gazebo anchoring plates (minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thickness) will be welded on both sides. Six special screws will be installed per leg for the vertical connection and two dowel screws per leg for ground attachment. All metal parts will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
