Wood dimensions will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall lengths with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood characteristics include: knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the part width; no rotten, split, or fallen knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are permitted; pressure‑treated wood may contain acceptable axial or transverse cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – at most one per piece, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length; no dripping or pulling resin. No inner rot, cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. Bending – will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. Impact – will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. Twisting – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Flexure to the grain – tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be fabricated from pine lumber sized at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives and a decorative motif. Seating Units: Four circular seats surround the table, each 30 cm (11.8 in) wide, 75 cm (29.5 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Seat carriers are made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped knives. Seat slats are 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wood pieces fastened to the carrier with galvanized screws. Table: The table top is a 75 cm (29.5 in) diameter oval, made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with a decorative motif applied by diamond‑tipped knives. Table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high, also made from pine lumber 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with the same decorative treatment.
