Seating Area: 135 cm (53.1 in) x 135 cm (53.1 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) • Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be produced with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in), as appropriate for the project. Required wood characteristics include: - Knots: Each meter may contain up to 4 solid knots. Knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, wormholes, partially healed or fallen knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring cracks will be present. Fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated specifications may allow acceptable longitudinal and transverse cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: Each meter may contain one resin pocket not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin will be present. No inner shell, rot voids, or insect holes will be present. - Manufacturing defects: No manufacturing defects; only deviations within the specified tolerances are permissible. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. - Twisting: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Bow deflection: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded and cleaned of splinters. • Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be fabricated from pine lumber measuring at least 40 mm (1.6 in) × 90 mm (3.5 in), machined with diamond‑tipped special blades and provided with a motif.
