Session Area: 135 cm (53.1 in) x 135 cm (53.1 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) Wood Features: The wood material used for manufacturing will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be produced with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: Knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots. Knot diameters will not exceed one quarter of the total part width. No rot, decay, partially cracked, or fallen knots will be present. Cracks – ring cracks will not be present. Microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Head and foot cracks permitted by pressure‑treated specifications are allowed provided they remain within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – each piece may contain one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No leaking or drawing resin, no inner shell, no rot cavities, and no insect holes will be present. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only deviations within the specified tolerances are permissible. Bending – will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. Impact – will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. Twist – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Deflection along grain – will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded clean of splinters. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber sized at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), fashioned with diamond‑point special knives and given a motif.
