Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be first‑class fir (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following requirements: Knots – each meter may contain up to four sound knots, with knot diameters not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, defect, partially fused or fallen knots are allowed. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible. Pressure‑treated wood may show head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – each meter may contain one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, no rotten cavities, and no insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not permitted; only deviations within the specified tolerances are allowed. Bending – may not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact – may not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting – may not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. Sword‑bending – tolerance between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters. Anchoring: To the bottom of the support legs, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) insert; two anchoring holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be installed with screws beneath the supports and also attached to the ground using steel dowels. This prevents wood from contacting water and secures the support legs to the floor. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges of at least 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thickness around at least two sides. Six special screws will be placed on each leg for the anchor connection, and two dowel screws per leg will secure the anchor to the ground. All metal components will be coated with polyester‑based powder paint and baked.
