Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following criteria: - Knots: up to four solid knots per piece; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. - No rot, worm holes, split or broken knots, or major ring cracks. Hairline cracks of 1‑2 mm (0.1 in) may be present. - Pressure‑treated wood may show head‑ and side‑cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: at most one per piece, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in), with no dripping or pulling resin. - No inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. - No manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. - Bending: deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: no more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. - Shear: deflection between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length is permitted. - Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be fabricated from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives. Seating Unit: Seat width 30 cm (11.8 in), length 140 cm (55.1 in), seat height 45 cm (17.7 in). The seating frame will be made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with diamond‑tipped motif. Six 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden dowels will be mounted with galvanized screws. Table: Table dimensions 63 × 140 cm (24.8 x 55.1 in), constructed from pressure‑treated pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with an oval motif cut by diamond‑tipped knives. Table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high, also made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with diamond‑tipped motif.
