Seating Area: 125 cm (49.2 in) x 125 cm (49.2 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) Wood Features: The lumber to be used for manufacturing will be first‑class Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material used in production must meet the following criteria: Knots: Each piece may contain up to four solid knots. The total diameter of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, split, partially fused or missing knots are allowed. Cracks: No ring cracks. Hairline cracks of 1–2 mm (0-0.1 in) may be present. Pressure‑treated resin cracks are permissible within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: Each piece may contain at most one resin pocket not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner shell, rot holes, insect holes, or manufacturing defects are permitted; only deviations within the specified tolerances are allowed. Deflection: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact markings will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Flexure to the grain: Flexure will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine timber measuring at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), machined with diamond‑tip specialty blades and provided with a motif.
