Seating Area: 120 x 60 cm (47.2 x 23.6 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood material used for manufacturing will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and the overall dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following criteria: • Knots: Each piece may contain up to four sound knots; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the total part width. No rotten, split, partially split, or missing knots are permitted. • Cracks: No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated wood may show head‑ and length‑wise cracks within tolerance limits. • Resin pockets: Each piece may contain at most one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects are allowed. Only deviations within the specified tolerances are acceptable. • Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. • Impact: Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. • Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. • Spring bend: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. • Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters.
