Seating Area: 89 x 195 cm (35 x 76.8 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) • Wood Specifications: The wood material for manufacturing will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in), as appropriate for the project. Desired characteristics of the wood material include: - Knots: Up to 4 solid knots may appear per meter. The total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, split, partially split, or fallen knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring cracks will be present. Microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated conditions may allow appropriate axial and radial cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: No more than one resin pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or sucking resin will be present. No inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes will be present. - Manufacturing defects are absent; only permissible deviations within specified tolerances may occur. - Flexure: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. - Twist: For each meter length, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). Edge bending will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters.
