The rubber flooring is produced by grinding vehicle tires into granules, pigmenting them for color, adding binders in specific proportions, and forming a dough. The resulting rubber dough is pressed at controlled temperatures into blocks with thicknesses ranging from 1.5 cm (0.6 in) to 5 cm (2 in). The manufactured block rubber flooring comes in 100 x 100 cm dimensions, with thickness options of 2, 2.5, 3, 4, and 5 cm (2 in), produced in red and black colors. Because of its large size, block rubber is used as flooring in overpasses, under machinery, industrial and factory laboratories, children's play areas, fitness zones, walking paths, livestock farms, terraces, balconies, school yards, nurseries, kindergartens, recreation areas, pool sides, bicycle lanes, garages, barns, sheds, and similar expansive spaces.
