Sandblasting and electrostatic powder coating specifications Electrostatic powder coating process: after sandblasting, degreasing, and phosphate washing, the parts are coated with a lead‑free polyester‑based powder paint to a thickness of 80-110 microns. Sandblasting removes oil, dirt and rust from all metal components, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. The sandblasting is performed by propelling fine metal beads with compressed air into a pressure‑resistant cabinet. After sandblasting, all metal components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and then cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 30 minutes.
