Three-Wheel Swinging Ladder, an exciting new variation of the traditional overhead climber. Instead of sticks or steps for children to swing on, there are three large metal wheels that rotate as the children hang from them. This allows them to swing from one wheel to the next while it turns, trying to catch the next wheel. If they miss, they simply keep rotating and try again on the next turn. Having three wheels makes the activity physically demanding yet not overly short. Children are challenged to maintain grip without touching the ground for a brief period and to coordinate catching the next wheel. Through practice, children will enjoy learning to control the wheel’s rotation speed by shifting their body weight.
