Material: The Odin crib is made of first‑grade solid pine that has been balanced‑dry with a moisture content of 6‑8%, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. No varnish, coating, or finish containing toxic chemicals is used, making it safe for babies. Design: Inspired by Scandinavian style, the crib features a minimal, natural, and functional design that highlights the unique grain and light colour of pine wood. As the child grows, the front rail can be removed to create a larger, more open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. Montessori: The crib sits low to the ground, with a height that allows easy entry for independent children. Although it appears to sit directly on the floor, a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high supports an internal mattress, providing insulation and keeping the child away from cold surfaces. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); a double‑sided Little Visco mattress can be ordered from the textile section to achieve the proper height and comfort. Why solid crib?: Solid construction makes the crib suitable for daily use and long‑term investment. The breathable wood helps regulate body temperature during sleep, promoting healthier, more comfortable rest. The natural grain adds a warm atmosphere to the room. Craftsmanship: Hand‑crafted by skilled artisans, the crib has no sharp edges or points. The smooth wood surface eliminates splinter hazards. It is portable and can be disassembled and reassembled many times if needed. Return and warranty: A two‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery time: Delivery takes 10–15 business days after the order is placed. Assembly service is charged separately. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain. Regular dusting and occasional cleaning with a damp cloth prolong the crib’s life. Apply a mineral or plant‑based oil once a year or as needed to preserve the wood’s moisture balance and surface. Solid‑wood furniture is generally sourced sustainably, making it an eco‑friendly choice. Dimensions: The crib size is 100 × 200 mm (3.9 x 7.9 in) with a 4 mm (0.2 in) allowance on each side. In the toddler‑bed option, the internal mattress/foam is 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in length and width than the main mattress. Rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in). Drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in). Leg height can be customized upon request.
