Material: The Odin crib is crafted from first‑grade solid pine that has been balanced‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %. This durable wood ensures long‑lasting performance. No toxic finishes, coatings, or varnishes are used, so the product is free of harmful chemicals. Design: The Odin crib features a minimal Scandinavian aesthetic that is both natural and functional. The distinctive grain and light colour of the pine wood are highlighted throughout the piece. As your child grows, the front railings can be removed to create a wider, more open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom furniture item. The drawer‑integrated design prioritises functionality; spacious drawers beneath the crib help keep the room tidy. Drawer handles are available in timeless, solid wood, or a playful cloud‑shaped option that matches the Souffle bedroom collection. Montessori‑Inspired: The crib is low to the floor and positioned at a height that encourages independent entry and exit. Although it appears to sit directly on the floor, a 4 cm (1.6 in) high supports an internal mattress, providing thermal insulation. The recommended mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in). Little Visco dual‑sided mattresses are available to achieve the proper height and comfort. These can be ordered from the Textile section of our website. The door can be set to open on the right, left, or centre, according to your preference. Why Solid Wood?: Solid construction makes this crib suitable for daily use and long‑term investment, offering a high‑quality sleeping environment. The breathable nature of natural wood helps regulate body temperature for a healthier, more comfortable sleep. The natural wood grain enhances the room’s atmosphere and creates a relaxing feel. Craftsmanship: Hand‑finished by skilled artisans, the wood is smooth and free of sharp edges or splinters. The design focuses on child safety, and the surface is polished to prevent any prick‑hazard. The crib is portable and can be easily assembled, disassembled, and re‑assembled as needed. Return & Warranty: A free 2‑year exchange or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery Lead Time: Orders are shipped within 10‑15 business days. Installation & Shipping: Free delivery is provided within the designated regions; installation services are available for an additional fee outside those areas. Specific installation costs will be communicated after the order is placed. Care: Solid pine is low‑maintenance. Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth help preserve its durability. Once a year, or as needed, apply mineral or plant‑based oil to maintain moisture balance and surface integrity. Solid wood furniture is typically sourced from sustainable forests, making it an environmentally friendly choice. Dimensions: The overall crib size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) allowance on each side. For the toddler‑bed option, the inner mattress must be 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in width and length than the primary mattress. Guardrail height is 55 cm (21.7 in). Drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in). Leg height can be customized to meet specific measurement requirements.
