Material: The Native American crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been seasoned to a balanced moisture content of 6‑8 %, giving it exceptional durability and a long lifespan. No varnish, coating, or finish that could be harmful to a baby’s health or contain toxic chemicals is used. Design: Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the crib features a clean, natural, and functional aesthetic. The pine’s unique grain and light colour are celebrated, and the design allows the front safety rails to be removed as the child grows, creating a more spacious and adaptable bedroom piece. A generous drawer beneath the crib provides convenient storage while keeping the room tidy. Drawer pulls are available in timeless straw, wood, or whimsical cloud options, matching the Souffle Bedroom Collection. Montessori Features: The crib is low to the floor and positioned at a child‑friendly height to encourage independent entry and exit. Although it appears to sit directly on the floor, a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high supports an internal mattress, offering insulation from cold surfaces. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); Little Visco dual‑sided mattresses can be added for optimal comfort. Why Solid Wood?: Solid pine breathes naturally, helping regulate body temperature during sleep for a healthier, more comfortable rest. Its natural grain enhances the room’s atmosphere and creates a calming environment. Craftsmanship: Hand‑crafted by skilled artisans, the crib has smooth edges with no sharp corners, ensuring safety for children. The wood surface is sanded to a fine finish that eliminates splinters. The structure is lightweight, portable, and can be disassembled and reassembled multiple times. Warranty: A two‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Care: Solid pine is low‑maintenance. Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth preserve the finish. Annual treatments with mineral or plant‑based oil help maintain moisture balance and surface protection. As a sustainably sourced material, solid wood is an eco‑friendly choice. Dimensions: The crib’s finished size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) side allowance on each side. Guard‑rail height is 50 cm (19.7 in); drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in); leg height is 10 cm (3.9 in). When ordered with a toddler mattress, the internal mattress should be 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in length and width than the main mattress dimensions.
