MATERIAL: The Native American crib is crafted from first‑grade solid pine that has been kiln‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. No varnish, coating, or finish containing toxic chemicals is used, keeping the baby safe. DESIGN: Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the pine retains its natural grain and light color. As the child grows, the front safety rails can be removed to create a wider, more open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. Spacious drawers beneath the sleeping surface provide organized storage, with pulls available in timeless, wood, or playful cloud shapes to match the Souffle room‑set line. MONTESSORI FEATURES: The bed base sits low to the floor for easy access. Although it appears to sit directly on the floor, a 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high supports an internal mattress that insulates and prevents cold from the floor. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); you can pair it with our Little Visco double‑sided mattress for optimal comfort. Mattress orders are placed in the Textile section of our site. The door orientation can be chosen as right‑hand, left‑hand, or centered. WHY SOLID WOOD CRIB? Solid pine provides a breathable surface that helps regulate body temperature during sleep, promoting a healthier, more comfortable rest. The natural wood grain enhances the room’s atmosphere. CRAFTSMANSHIP: Skilled artisans hand‑finish the wood, leaving no sharp or rough edges and a smooth surface that eliminates splinter hazards. The crib is portable, easy to assemble, and can be disassembled and reassembled many times. RETURN AND WARRANTY: A 2‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. DELIVERY TIME: Delivery occurs within 10‑15 business days after the order is placed. Installation service is available in the Aegean and Marmara regions (additional fees apply elsewhere). MAINTENANCE: Solid pine is low‑maintenance; regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth preserve durability. An annual treatment with mineral or plant‑based oil maintains the wood’s moisture balance and surface integrity. As a product made from sustainably sourced wood, it is an environmentally friendly choice. MEASUREMENTS: Overall crib dimensions include a 4 cm (1.6 in) allowance on each side. For the toddler‑size option, the internal mattress must be 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in length and width than the main mattress. Rail height is 50 cm (19.7 in). Drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in). Foot height is 10 cm (3.9 in).
