Material: The crib is crafted from first‑grade solid pine seasoned to a balanced 6‑8% moisture content, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. No varnishes, coatings, or finishes containing toxic chemicals are used, making it safe for babies. Design: Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the crib features a natural pine texture and retains the wood’s light color. As your child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a larger, open‑plan sleeping area, converting the piece into versatile bedroom furniture. Spacious drawers beneath the crib provide functional storage and help keep the room organized. Drawer handles are available in timeless, wood, or playful cloud styles, matching the Souffle room‑set accessories. Montessori features: The low‑profile bed base encourages independence and easy access. Although the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, it rests on 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panels that support an inner mattress, providing insulation and preventing the child from feeling cold. The recommended inner mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); a Little Visco double‑sided mattress can be added for optimal comfort. The door orientation (right, left, or centered) is selectable at order. Why solid wood?: Solid‑wood construction makes the crib suitable for daily use and long‑term investment. Pine’s breathable nature helps regulate body temperature during sleep, promoting healthier, more comfortable rest. The natural wood grain enhances the room’s atmosphere and creates a cozy feeling. Craftsmanship: Hand‑crafted by skilled artisans, the crib has smooth, rounded edges with no sharp corners. The surface is sanded to a splinter‑free finish, ensuring child safety. The design is portable and can be disassembled and reassembled many times. Warranty: A free exchange or return is offered for up to two years for any material or workmanship defects. Delivery time: Orders ship within 10–15 business days after purchase. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain. Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth preserve the wood’s durability. Annual treatments with mineral or plant‑based oil maintain moisture balance and surface protection. Because solid‑wood furniture is sourced from sustainable forests, it is an environmentally friendly choice. Dimensions: The crib’s overall size is 100 × 200 mm (3.9 x 7.9 in), with an additional 4 cm (1.6 in) on each side for allowances. For the infant‑size option, the inner mattress should be 10 cm (3.9 in) smaller in length and width than the primary mattress. Guard‑rail height is 50 cm (19.7 in). Drawer height is 20 cm (7.9 in), and leg height is 10 cm (3.9 in).
