Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑class solid pine wood with a balanced moisture content of 6‑8 %, providing durability and long life. A silk‑matte lacquer paint is applied to the premium pine; no varnish, coating, or finish that could harm a baby’s health or contain toxic chemicals is used. Design: The crib features a Scandinavian‑inspired minimal, natural, and functional design. We preserved the pine’s natural light color and unique grain for an authentic look and feel. As your child grows, you can remove the front railings to create a wider, more open space, making the piece suitable from childhood through the teenage years. The low bed base encourages independence and easy entry. Although the crib appears to sit at floor level, internal panels raise it 4 cm (1.6 in) above the floor, providing insulation and preventing a cold surface. The maximum internal mattress height is 20 cm (7.9 in); you can achieve proper height and comfort with our Little Visco dual‑sided mattress pads. The door orientation can be set to right, left, or center when viewed from the outside. Why a solid‑wood crib?: Solid wood is ideal for daily use and long‑term investment, offering a high‑quality sleep area. Its breathable natural structure helps regulate body temperature, resulting in a healthier, more comfortable rest. The wood grain and natural texture enhance the room’s atmosphere and create a cozy feel. Craftsmanship: Skilled craftsmen shape the wood, leaving no sharp or hazardous edges. The smooth surface eliminates splinter risks. The crib is portable, easy to assemble, and can be disassembled and reassembled repeatedly as needed. Return and warranty: A two‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery time: Delivery is completed within 10‑15 business days after the order is placed. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain. With proper care, it can be used from infancy through adolescence. Dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth help prolong its life. Apply mineral or plant‑based oil once a year or as needed to preserve the wood’s moisture balance and surface. The wood is sourced from sustainable resources, making it an environmentally friendly choice. Dimensions: The dimensions you select when ordering refer to the mattress/internal mattress size to be used inside the crib. The finished crib size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) side allowance on each side. The rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in).
