Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been air‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %. The wood is finished with a silk‑matte lacquer paint, providing durability without any toxic varnishes, coatings, or finishes that could harm a baby’s health. Design: Featuring a Scandinavian‑inspired minimal, natural, and functional style, the pine retains its distinctive grain and light color. The front rails can be removed as your child grows, creating a larger, more open space for a versatile bedroom piece. The low platform encourages independence and easy access. Though the crib appears to sit directly on the floor, it rests on panels 4 cm (1.6 in) high, offering insulation and a warm surface. An optional internal mattress up to 20 cm (7.9 in) thick can be paired with our reversible Little Visco mattress for optimal comfort. Why a solid‑wood crib?: Solid construction makes the crib suitable for daily use and long‑term investment. The breathable natural wood helps regulate body temperature for a healthier, more comfortable sleep, while the wood texture enhances the room’s atmosphere. Craftsmanship: The wood is carefully hand‑crafted to eliminate sharp edges or splinters. The smooth surface poses no splinter risk, and the crib is portable and easy to assemble or disassemble many times. Return and warranty: A two‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery time: Delivery takes 10‑15 business days after order confirmation. An additional service fee applies for assembly outside the Aegean and Marmara regions and will be communicated after the order is placed. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain. Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth help preserve longevity. Annual or as‑needed treatment with mineral or plant‑based oil protects the wood’s moisture balance and surface. As a sustainably sourced material, solid wood is an environmentally friendly choice. Dimensions: The finished crib measures 90 × 190 mm (3.5 x 7.5 in), with a 4 cm (1.6 in) allowance on each side for edge clearance. The rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in).
