Materials: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that is balanced dried with a moisture content of 6‑8 %, making it durable and long‑lasting. A silk‑mat lacquer finish is applied to the premium pine wood. No varnish, coating, or finish containing toxic chemicals or harmful to a baby’s health is used. Design: The Sebastian Crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style that is natural and functional. Pine wood shows a distinctive grain, and we have kept its light colour to highlight the texture. As your child grows, you can remove the front railings to create a wider, more open look, allowing the piece to serve through childhood and teenage years. The Montessori design encourages independence and exploration; the platform sits low to the floor, with inner mattress panels placed 4 cm (1.6 in) above the base for insulation and warmth. The recommended maximum inner mattress height is 20 cm (7.9 in); you can achieve the proper height and comfort with our double‑sided Little Visco mattress pads, available in the Textile section. The door opening can be right‑hand, left‑hand, or centered when viewed from the opposite side. Why solid wood? Because it is solid, the crib is suitable for daily use and long‑term investment, offering a high‑quality sleeping area. The breathable nature of natural wood helps regulate body temperature for a healthier, more comfortable rest, and the grain adds a cozy ambience. Craftsmanship: Skilled hands shape the wood with no sharp or protruding edges. The surface is smoothly finished to eliminate splinter risk. The crib is portable, easy to assemble, and can be disassembled and re‑assembled many times. Return and warranty: A free exchange or return is provided for up to two years if a material or workmanship defect occurs. Delivery time: 10–15 business days after the order is placed.
