Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been evenly dried to a moisture content of 6‑8%, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. The pine is finished with a silk‑mat lacquer paint, with no varnish, coating, or toxic finish that could harm a baby’s health. Design: The crib features a minimal, natural, and functional Scandinavian design. The pine retains its unique texture and light colour. As the child grows, the front rails can be removed to create a wider, open space, turning the crib into a versatile bedroom piece. The low platform sits close to the floor, making it easy for a child to get in and out. A 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high beneath supports an internal mattress, providing insulation and warmth. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); compatible double‑sided mattresses can be added for optimal comfort. Door opening can be chosen on the left, right, or centre when viewed from the front. Why Solid Wood?: Solid wood is suitable for daily use and long‑term investment, offering a high‑quality sleep environment. The breathable natural wood helps regulate body temperature, promoting healthier, more comfortable rest. The wood grain and texture enhance the room’s atmosphere and create a soothing feel. Craftsmanship: The wood is carefully hand‑crafted with no sharp or protruding edges. The smooth surface eliminates splinter hazards. The crib is portable and can be assembled and disassembled many times. Return and Warranty: A two‑year free replacement or return warranty covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery Time: 10‑15 business days after the order is placed. Assembly service is available for an additional fee. Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain—regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth help prolong the crib’s life. Apply mineral or vegetable oil annually to preserve moisture balance and surface condition. Solid wood furniture is typically sourced from sustainable forests, making it an eco‑friendly choice. Dimensions: The finished crib size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) side allowance on both the left and right sides, and the rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in).
