Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is crafted from first‑grade solid pine wood that has been balanced‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8%, ensuring durability. A silk‑mat lacquer finish is applied to the premium pine, with no toxic varnish, coating, or lacquer that could harm a baby's health. Design: The crib features a minimalist Scandinavian style—natural, functional, and showcasing the distinctive grain of pine. The natural texture and colour are left intact. As the child grows, the front rail can be removed to create a larger, open‑space bedside piece. The low mattress platform sits close to the floor, with panels raised 4 cm (1.6 in) to provide insulation and keep the child warm. The recommended internal mattress height is up to 20 cm (7.9 in); compatible double‑sided mattresses are suitable. The door opening can be set to the right, left, or centre when viewed from the front. Why Solid Wood?: Solid construction is suited for daily use and long‑term investment. The breathable wood helps regulate body temperature for a healthier, more comfortable rest, and its natural pattern enhances the room’s atmosphere. Craftsmanship: The wood is hand‑finished with no sharp edges; the smooth surface eliminates splinter hazards. The crib is portable and can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly. Return and Warranty: A 2‑year free replacement or return warranty covers material or workmanship defects. Delivery Time: 10‑15 business days after order confirmation. For other locations, we provide disassembled shipping with optional installation (additional charges apply). Care: Solid pine is easy to maintain—regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth prolong durability. An annual treatment with mineral or plant‑based oil helps preserve moisture balance. Solid wood furniture is typically sourced from sustainable forests, making it an eco‑friendly choice. Dimensions: Overall crib size is 100 × 200 mm (3.9 x 7.9 in) plus 4 cm (1.6 in) side allowances; guard rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in).
