Material: The Sebastian Montessori crib is made from first‑grade solid pine that has been balanced‑dried to a moisture content of 6‑8 %. It is finished with a silk‑mat lacquer paint—no varnish, coating, or finish containing harmful chemicals is used. Design: Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the natural grain and light tone of the pine are left visible. The front rail can be removed as your child grows, turning the crib into a larger bedroom piece. The low base and inner mattress platform sit on 4 cm (1.6 in)‑high panels, providing insulation and keeping the child from feeling cold. The recommended maximum mattress height is 20 cm (7.9 in); a reversible Little Visco mattress can be used to achieve the proper height and comfort. Why a solid‑wood crib? Solid wood endures daily use, offers a long‑term investment, and its breathable nature helps regulate body temperature for healthier sleep while adding warmth to the room. Craftsmanship: Skilled artisans shape the wood with no sharp edges or splinters; the surface is smooth and safe. The crib is lightweight, portable, and designed for easy assembly and repeated disassembly. Warranty: A 2‑year free replacement or return guarantee covers any material or workmanship defects. Delivery: Orders ship within 10‑15 business days. For other locations, the crib is delivered disassembled with optional assembly upon request. Care: Regular dusting and occasional wiping with a damp cloth preserve durability; an annual treatment with mineral or plant‑based oil maintains moisture balance and protects the surface. The pine is sustainably sourced. Dimensions: The finished crib size includes a 4 cm (1.6 in) side allowance on both left and right edges; rail height is 55 cm (21.7 in).
