Lumber sections are cut to a tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in); overall dimensions to ±20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable wood characteristics: up to four sound knots per piece, total knot diameter ≤ ¼ of the piece’s width, no rotten or split knots; no ring cracks (hairline cracks 1‑2 mm (0.1 in) allowed); resin pockets ≤ 10 cm (3.9 in), max one per piece; no interior bark, rot cavities, insect holes, or defects beyond tolerances; deflection ≤ 1⁄50 of member length; impact marks ≤ 1⁄100 of member width; twist ≤ 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter; compression deflection between 1⁄50 and 1⁄100 of length is acceptable; all visible surfaces sanded smooth. Primary supports: four pine legs ≥ 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped blades that add a motif; one leg 220 cm (86.6 in) high, the opposite 240 cm (94.5 in) high due to the slope. Roof carrier beams: 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) timber, two corners routed, with decorative 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) motifs on top, all fastened with galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: each leg has a 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in) flange welded to a 90 × 70 × 5 mm (3.5 x 2.8 x 0.2 in) steel plate, drilled for a 12 mm (0.5 in) hole. Anchors bolt to the legs and ground via steel dowels, preventing water contact. Six special screws secure each leg to its anchor, and two dowel screws attach the leg to the ground.
