Pressure treatment impregnates wood with chemicals using various methods to protect it from fungi, insects, and termites, thereby extending its service life. The treatment penetrates only the sapwood; the dense heartwood remains untreated because it is naturally durable, so only sapwood should be processed. The procedure varies with wood species, environment of use, and expected service life. - Acts as a protective agent. - Prevents decay and insect infestation. - For durability, follow with varnish applications to preserve the treatment’s properties over the long term. Fill Varnish - Reaches sandable hardness within 2–4 hours after application (timing may vary with ambient temperature and humidity). - Fills wood pores and provides a smooth surface. - Reduces absorption of the final topcoat, saving time and material. - Sands easily. Gloss Varnish Provides the desired gloss appearance and slip resistance. It is physically hard and resistant to scratches and impacts, and chemically resistant to water, detergents, and other chemicals. It serves as the final clear coat, delivering a bright, high‑transparency finish. Allow flexibility with timing for optimal results.
