Cellulose Primer: A single‑component, fast‑drying primer based on nitrocellulose and alkyd resin. It offers high filling and covering power, excellent spreadability, and adhesion, creating a smooth, even surface ready for subsequent coats. Lacquer Paint: A glossy, high‑sheen coating mainly used on wood or laminate surfaces. When applied it completely hides the wood grain and pattern, delivering a uniform, protective finish. The smooth appearance it provides transforms a plain board into a premium‑looking piece, which is why it is popular for furniture. Lacquer can be supplied in many colors, but the substrate must be well‑sanded and smooth before application. Unlike standard varnishes, lacquer is typically applied in seven coats, followed by a final polishing step that imparts a flawless surface. Because it involves multiple layers of coating and drying, lacquer finishing is more expensive than conventional paints. Both lacquer application and drying times can be long; therefore, flexible scheduling and careful monitoring of each coating and cure stage are essential to achieve optimal quality.
