It is semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable. Its low cost and high resistance make it popular in industry. Density and chemical composition determine its classification; mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. Generally it offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. It is used for slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments must have a light‑fastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for parts not subjected to pressure such as barriers and shade structures. Material distribution must be uniform to provide consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance: ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier frame consists of steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted, then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder finish and cured in an oven. All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑grain powder is applied and cured at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. After painting, parts undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes, followed by a 15‑minute phosphating bath at 50 °C. Final rinsing and drying are performed, and the parts receive a durable polyester powder coat baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams are fully coated to prevent corrosion.
