It is semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable. Its low cost and high resistance make it widely used in industry. Density and chemical composition determine its classification; mechanical properties are influenced by molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. In general it provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. It is used for slides, staircases, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments must have a light‑fastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components that serve only as barriers or shading. Material distribution must be uniform to ensure consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance: ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier frame consists of circular‑section steel tubes meeting TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted, then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint and cured. All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑ball coating is sprayed, then baked at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. After coating, parts are dipped for 10 minutes in a 70 °C degreasing bath (5 % solution), followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C iron bath (1 % solution). After rinsing and drying, the parts receive a durable polyester electrostatic powder coat cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted to prevent corrosion.
