It is semi‑permeable, flexible and highly durable, offering low cost and excellent chemical resistance. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching. The material generally resists outdoor conditions and moisture, provides flexibility, modest mechanical strength and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Minimum wall thickness is 6 mm (0.2 in) for load‑bearing parts and 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures, with a uniform thickness tolerance of ±5 %. Carrier construction: The carrier consists of steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑drawn to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat. Electrostatic powder coating: All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. After cleaning, fine steel shot is sprayed onto the interior of a pressure‑sealed cabinet to open pores. The components are then sprayed with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, parts receive a 10‑minute hot‑oil rinse at 70 °C (5 % concentration), followed by a 15‑minute hot‑iron dip at 50 °C (1 % concentration), then rinsed and dried. Finally, the entire assembly receives a single coat of paint and is cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes.
